Why blog? Why share ones thoughts? What do I have to offer?
A good question? Lets start with the first question.
Over the years my news habits have changed dramatically. Now a days I get most of my information from blogs and even though I still read through tons of newspapers and magazines every year I find that most often I get the best angles from bloggers. On many occasions I have left longer comments on other peoples blogs. But it left me strangely unhappy and in the end I felt that my views needed a home of their own.
Well then, why should my thought need a blog? What makes them special? I don't know. All I know is that the blogs i like the most have something to tell. Which is the reason why I keep coming back. So I will let you the read decide if this blog is worth the read.
I have a keen interest in American politics and as a trained military historian, I am an alumnus of the great UNC, I believe it gives me a good foundation for analyzing current affairs from an European perspective. As most blogs I will comment on the news flavoured with articles of my own.
